Fear Street: 1994
The new Netflix trilogy "Fear Street" premieres on July 2. The films are based on R. L. Stine's novel series. The supernatural components in the film work on shaky logic. It can be aggravating to see the main characters try to placate the witch, only to have their schemes fall through. "Fear Street" is the second Netflix film to feature assisted suicide in less than a month. The film is attempting to be unique, which may pay off in the two subsequent installments. It's all meant to connect, yet many may perceive it as a dead-end from the start.
