Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens
This film presents a touching story of friendship, family, and self-discovery, which is exquisitely enhanced by the nuanced and captivating character development of each individual with a distinct backstory. A rich backdrop for Ali's voyage is created by the film's superb portrayal of Indonesian culture and New York City. However, audiences looking for action-packed moments may not enjoy the narrative's noticeably slow pacing. Additionally, a few plot points seem unfinished and unresolved, which results in a hurried and ultimately disappointing ending.
