Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile
Positively, the film has a certain appeal. Javier Bardem plays the part of Lyle with a lot of energy, and his singing is very good. Lyle is an endearing character. The Greatest Showman's musical team has created appealing songs, and the entire production has the vibe of a beloved children's book brought to life. But Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile falls short of the greatness of films such as Paddington. Some of the gags may be too sophisticated for younger audiences, and the plot occasionally feels a little flimsy. Except for Lyle and possibly Bardem's flamboyant showman, the characters are a little one-dimensional.
