This scenario presents an ideal opportunity to analyze the unexpected consequences that arise when trust is placed in the promises of an actor who claims to revolutionize the comic book universe, only to abruptly shift focus toward aggressive promotion without delivering meaningful results. Specifically, in the case of Black Adam, one must question the character's purpose as an impending threat within the narrative, only to discover that the major reveal was merely a promotional tool for Black Adam's solo film. This raises concerns about the integrity of storytelling when narrative stakes are overshadowed by marketing strategies.
