The Nun II

Chaves' follow-up film brings back Valek, the demon nun from the first movie, and follows Sister Irene as she looks into a string of horrific killings occurring in churches around Europe.

The sequel's globetrotting plot expands the scope of the first movie suitably by taking place in other locations across the continent.

Chaves uses his amazing sense of space to great use in this scene, transforming the setting from a sanctuary of God into a terrifying house of horrors where everything is imaginable. The Nun II offers a terrifying and entertaining ending that combines the most intriguing elements of the story with some truly horrific visuals. This remark also applies to the entire movie. And while many will not find joy in its genre clichés, The Nun II offers plenty of terror for those who are prepared to put in a little trust.
